Meet Nick Claerbout, P. Geo
Nick is the owner of Claerbout Geological Services, LLC who has over 17 years of experience in the exploration sector and mining industry covering both precious and base metal deposits throughout North America. Nick has worked with a variety of junior exploration companies, mid-tier producers and tier 1 large mining companies such as Newmont, in numerous geologic capacities. Throughout his career, Mr. Claerbout has gained experience with various staged projects from MREs, PEAs, Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility for geologic study work and associated field work. Nick’s work throughout his career has added value to a number of properties that span from green fields exploration projects up through producing mines for surface and underground deposits. Nick is a registered member of SME, a certified Professional Geologist in the state of Utah and he maintains an active surface and underground MSHA 500-23. Nick is currently based out of Elko, NV and he and his team are ready to assist you and your team by adding value to your property!
Meet Kevin Olsonawski
Kevin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geological Sciences from the University of Minnesota Duluth, before moving out west in search of Gold and Silver via the minerals exploration and mining industry. From underground production with the majors, to greenfield exploration with the juniors, Kevin has over a decade of economic geology experience in remote parts of Nevada, Utah, and Alaska. He has recently obtained his Master’s Certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Elmhurst University. Since attaining this credential, he has been in the geospatial industry collecting and managing remote sensing data from an aerial platform. In addition to his many years of exploration geology, and GIS experience, Kevin possesses a current part 107 certification from FAA to fly drones commercially for aerial surveying and mapping. With his many years in the field performing exploration geology paired with geospatial knowledge and FAA certification, he brings a wealth of knowledge and opportunity to Claerbout Geological Services.
